My face hurt from being pressed against the glass but other than that I felt refreshed and full of energy, like I had slept a whole day.
The weather also seemed to calm down. There was no evidence of the recent rain anywhere. The sky was clear aside from a few clouds close to the horizon. The scenery gave me a sense of peace.
"I hope you had enough time to recuperate."It was the young hooded woman.
"I did. Thank you. But you did not keep your word and went inside my head again."
"I assure I did not. Whatever you heard or saw was not of my doing."
Her voice did not waver while she spoke, and she almost seemed offended by my accusation.
"My apologies then, I must have made a mistake."
"There is no need for apologies. One as inexperienced as yourself should be suspicious of any unknown activity or company, myself included."
"You're telling me I can't trust you.""I'm saying that you can, but that deep down you shouldn't."
"Would you care to elaborate on that?"
"I have told you what you needed to know, anymore information would not have been helpful."
"May I at least learn your name? So I can know what to call you."
"My name is of no importance, but if you must, you may call me Pilgrim."
"... Okay... very nice to meet you! My name is..."
"... also of no importance, though I know it. If needed, I shall address you as Traveller."
"What? Why?"
"You are travelling, I am on a pilgrimage, our actions define us, no more no less."
She was starting to get on my nerves.
"Look, I don't mean to be rude, but I would really appreciate some answers."
She stood up and faced me.
"I must go back to my seat, but shall return in about an hour."
And with that she took off, leaving me extremely frustrated.
