"Damn it! Some one's in my head again..."
I looked around and was about to call out any intruders when I heard a murmur, which got louder.
"In his head? Of course we are in his head... where else would we be?"
"You make a valid point my good sir, but may I remind you that that fact is unknown to him, therefore his knowledge is not his own."
"Quite right madam. But I do think he has noticed us...""Well of course he has noticed us, we have been arguing over nothing as loudly as we can."
"True, but we can rest assured he knows not of our existence or purpose..."
"You sir, should really learn to keep your mouth closed."
"You are of course correct and I should thank you for your gentle reminder."
"No thanks needed, as he still has no idea of who we are..."
"Do you think we should introduce ourselves?"
"I think it is quite early in the game, and besides, he does not need us yet."
"In that case I think it would be better if he just woke up."
"We are in agreement milady, someone should record this moment..."
"Do stop your futile attempts at humour!"
"You know as well as I do that I can't... I am funny by design!"
"... Let us just complete the task at hand."
"Very well, my talents are wasted on you anyway."
The fog became silent, but before I could say anything, I found myself being more focused and realised the fog was imaginary, I had been dreaming and was about to wake up.
