I had slept for four hours but had less energy then when I had boarded the train. The whole dream experience had drained me and I found myself fighting off the urge to close my eyes.
I noticed the hooded group was having a discussion between them. Loud enough that the other passengers glanced in their direction, but not that anyone could understand what was actually being said.
I tried to entertain my brain with the landscape, but the rain had increased and in my case, it worked like a  sedative. Every time a heavy storm would hit the city I would have the best night of sleep. Especially if the rain hit my window like it was happening on the train. I shook my head as to wake myself up, but it was a losing battle, and I didn't know if I had enough strength to fight a would be captor in my dreams again...
As that thought ran through my mind, someone sat down in one of the seats opposite of me, closest to the aisle. It was one of the hoods, a dark blue one with black patterns.
Before I could say anything, the hood was pulled back and revealed a young woman of no more than seventeen years old. She wore her hazelnut hair short, a little below her chin, and her green eyes showed more wisdom and maturity than she let on. When she spoke, her voice was firm and clear but for a moment it sounded like music, she seemed to add some sort of melody while speaking.
"I am sorry for the trials we put you through. You may be pleased to know that you caught one of our best by surprise. He was not pleased, but eventually saw it as a warning to improve his skills."
I motioned to speak, but she just lifted her right index finger to her lips, asking for my silence.
"Your questions may be plenty, but now is not the time. You are exhausted and require rest, I shall remain here while you recuperate. Do not worry, I will not invade your dream space or allow anyone to do so."
Again I tried speaking but she just lifted her finger and hen pulled her hood over her head.
"You will rest now."
I gave up, at least for the moment and leaned against the window. The dreamless sleep that followed was a blessing.
