Okay... so maybe I was letting my imagination run wild, after all, the door on the front car could have simply been stuck, and the effect those women had on me was easily explained by the vulnerable state I was in... though they really were beautiful, sensual, enticing...
And suddenly I found myself walking to the door thinking it might have loosened since last time, that maybe I didn't put enough effort into opening it.
Thankfully I was brought back to reality before my body started moving by itself.
The train had entered a tunnel and its lights flickered, putting a stop to the creeping darkness.
Again I was amazed by how much influence the mere thought of those beautiful women had on me. And again I was scared. I approached the door that separated the cars, not to try and open it, but to check that it was firmly closed.
I tried as hard as I could, but it just wouldn't budge.
Sighing in relief, I returned to my seat and just stared at the window.
We still hadn't come out of the tunnel, so all I could really see was the interior reflected on the window.
From the wooden walls and ceiling to the green leather seats, everything had a western, but classy feel to it, if there was such a thing. The only sign that we lived in the twenty first century was the row of circular halogen lamps in the center of the car.
I was amazed at how well kept this train had been, how warm and cosy it was.
Looking out the window, I could see some light on the tunnels walls, which meant we were close to its end.
